Costa Rican

Image
This Chirripo SHB EP coffee is from the Brunca region in southwest Costa Rica.
Sweet with a citrus acidity and dried fruit, black tea and cocoa notes.

The Brunca region is marked by mountainous terrain and volcanic soil. High altitudes on Costa Rica’s highest mountain, Cerro Chirripo, provide the cool climates that are ideal for growing sweet and dense beans. The Chirripo coffee is picked in the area of Perez Zeledon.
These beans make a really nice, well balanced cup of coffee. This washed coffee is sweet with a citrus acidity and dried fruit, black tea and cocoa notes. The cup is complex with a bright, but moderate acidity. This coffee tastes great roasted anywhere a bit past a light roast all the way to a dark roast.
